  • I love those shadow reverse samba rolls...you know which one!

  • magrebi vart qartvelebiiii ))))))

  • Hey Everyone, The Song is called "Marchina" by Dancelife: youtube.com/watch?v=cXDQUUrzWDg

  • @Honoluly THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!

  • I will never get tired of watching theses solos! I love this music! I love these couples! I love SAMBA!

...and this is one of the few times that I can actually stand the commentary. ;-)

  • @MasterDon08 That's Karen Hardy

  • 6:51 what the hell is franova doing. looks like her legs are having a seizure

  • is that carmen commenting in the back?

  • In the background you mean? No that is Karen Hardy

  • Where can I find this song?

  • Go here 'en(.)vpleer(.)ru' and search for 'Marchina', Should be the second link down

    :)

  • Awesome!! Thanks!

  • 4:54 - 5:10 ... wow!

  • tezi napravo se razglobiha..super prosto :)))

  • dose anyone know the name of this song?

  • yes it's marchina by TNT

  • @driftttttttttttttt youtube.com/watch?v=cXDQUUrzWDg

  • i didn't like formica and nikiforova... the best are denis and maria! Definitely!

  • don't like formica???? seriously - show me another dancer with the exception of bryan watson who is as rhythmical as he is, when it comes to samba. He has, by far, the best technique for samba, to a point where he can actually demonstrate all the rhythms to a given phrase of music.

  • Maurizio & Melinda their natural rolls are amazing!

  • just to be more clear, but that aren't natural rolls but revers roll in shadow position..

  • here is what ive noticed about denis and maria.. if you watch closely on their samba rolls. they step on a different count than their partner. in those cases, judges will usually place them lower. but nonetheless they are very good.

  • @therejected1

They are on the same count but Maria takes the step a bit earlier. You're not meant to step on the same time, that would defeat the purpose of lead and follow. If you want to be nitpicky then yes, Dennis' foot should place on the floor first.

  • @AceyBlade In Samba rolls, these rules do not apply. They must step on the same count in order to keep the correct rotation and speed. The girl must literally know the man's lead and movements "telepathically"

  • @therejected1 I think we need to realise that this isn't social dancing. It's choreographed. The judges expect them to work for months before showing up on the floor. So stepping on different counts won't matter.

  • the first couple to dance was clearlY the best!!!!

  • Yeahh i agree, there togetherness is rubbish, sshes doing the steps whilst hes wiggle on one occasion, they dont work as a partnership in my opinion.

  • i can`t velive they are last, judges are crazy they are the best couople

  • first couple is amazingly wonderful, they have this chemistry that makes them one

  • Can't believe that Denis and Maria came last! Don't know how about the other dances but their samba is simply the best in here. I guess the politics is still major in the industry.

  • they were the baddest in the final

  • now anybody got this song?

  • can anyone send me this marchina samba?? I'd appreciate it SO much : ) !

  • works for her, though

  • No. The results were just as they should've been. Franco and Oksana dominated this competition from the beginning into the end. The only championships I could disagree is the 2002 one and 2003 (but that's when Riccardo and Joanne should've won).

  • That's a wierd oppinion. Viki and Klaus are the best!

  • viki and klaus being the best can be seen. ONLY from the rumba in a very small slight form, especially with formica and nikiforova most definitely above them.

  • you write like a retard

  • gd vid thanks for uploading. lol franco and oksana were really gd.. y did they have to split if they were still together they could be challenging 1st place in pro... lol this was gd vid. do u have to rest of it?.. this was wen being amueter was gd. y did idsf have to fuck everything up...

  • Thanks for posting this

  • her legs do look great

  • I LOVE Marias Legs.... and also this incredible song!!!!

  • I haven't said which Maria... the first one.. and I admire Franco and Óksana but I must say, that I don't like her head in the samba roll............

  • Comment removed

  • i think Denis and Maria have the best Samba Rolls

  • in latin technique Maurizio Vescovo & Melinda Törökgyörgy they have the best samba rolls

  • i like denis and maria's samba rolls better. they seem to have added some extra spins to their rendition and gave it some more style.

  • Like in the US, the amateurs are not allowed to teach and earn from it. I think aswell there not allowed to advertise themselves as dancers for demos n stuff openly e.g posters adverts internet but via word of mouth. Still think this final is missing Evgeni & Rachael!

  • I knew something was missing! I think those two are amazing dancers as well.

  • great video...i had never seen it

  • i love the way melinda and viktoria are dancing!amazing great!

  • Can anyone please tell me the title of the song and who sings it.

  • the title is:marchina samba

  • thanks.:)

  • Do you know the album it is in? Thanks.

  • for THIS version on Marchina

its on LATIN ORIGINALS VOLUME 1

  • theese dancers are not amateurs they are world champions in latin and are from the top ten best couples in of the world thats why please someone who is knowlegeabled in dancing more tell me why they are called amateurs??

  • to be a pro, you would need to have teching qualifications. amateur is the word obviously used for people who arent profesisonal yet. Technically, everyone who competes Latin, Rhythm, Smooth, or Standard are amateur dancers.

amateur is basically pre-profesisonal. What most pros do is get very highy ranked in amateur and when they do, they turn professional.

the top latin professionals in the world are Bryan Watson and Carmen.

  • The main difference (in the US) between am and pro is how dancing effects the couples income. So long as the amature couple is not making a living off of ballroom dancing they can be considered amature (however these rules are being changed so amatures can make a decent amount from dancing)

  • I guess the biggest difference is whether the couple declares that they are pro or not. Meaning pros only compete against pros and am vs. am.

but you are most certainly right, these couples are all very good, amature is just a way of categories.

  • Who are the commentators? Sounds like Karen Hardy but not sure who the guy is tho he sounds knowledgeable.

  • I think they are Karen Hardy and Michael Torres

  • It's Karen Hardy and Richard Porter.

  • Thanks for the vid great dancing by all the couples although I'm surprised that the Russian couple placed 6th. Like the commentator was saying, theres a difference in style and I'm more a fan of a looser samba with a more prominent bounce action and I thought they had that the most. But I'm also a fan of Katsevman/Manusova and I'm surprised that the Stokkebroe's placed above them. I especially didn't like the way they came out of that samba roll by going on the floor, that looked weird to me

  • lol I just realized the rankings were probably for the entire competition not this particular dance... anyway my opinion of the samba still stands lol

  • of course its placed for all the dances not only in one dance (learn something about dancesport lol)

  • you DO know that judges do in fact rank couples in each particular dance? the results given here though are the final rankings

  • in competition judges give their ranking for each couple in each dance then all the result are counted and we have our winner!

  • i agree with you, i thought that they were going to win, or at least do better than last plave. i'm not that familiar with all of the dances, but i've noticed that i do like the style that is more bouncy, just like the commentator said.
