Great idea! It's no shirt off Israel's back to right their own investigative report, it's just an opportunity for hasbara...the world wants it, hey, please give it to them! And I even have an idea for who can write it: "the Elder" behind elderofziyon, a blog that already has on his own taken up the matter, debunking bit by bit through Goldstone's error-ridden, biased report. Cooperating w/ Goldstone's biased mandate would have legitimized it, writing a counter report does not.

Also, if possible, it'd be great if such a corrective setting-the-record-straight report would be made available for public dissemination, and also if it could have some photos, like of Hamas storing & using arms from within schools, hospitals, & other civilian locations; IDF photos of great pains to avoid civilians, of Israel sending humanitarian aid, of Palestinians blocking & even raiding aid; & please can Israel's report have a fair mandate investigation of *both* sides.
