It seems more unlikely to me that the parents had done something to cause Madeleine to die than the child being snatched. The other children had been tested for any drugs as it shows in the hair for a few months, so I would doubt they would have just given them to Madeleine, so if we throw that reason out the window, if it was an accident, wouldn't it have made more sense for them to report it, as parents of children who have had an unfortunate accident don't usually get prosecuted.

There's really no point in bringing a case to trial if there is no body in most European countries, it's a waste of taxpayers money. Until that little girl's body is found there will be no trail, that's common legal practice in Portugal, actually, in anywhere in the world other than North America and the UK. Very few places will try to convict without a body which is why their "unsolved" murder cases are much higher than our own. We put a lot more faith in circumstatial evidence.

It seems more unlikely to me that the parents had done something to cause Madeleine to die than the child being snatched. The other children had been tested for any drugs as it shows in the hair for a few months, so I would doubt they would have just given them to Madeleine, so if we throw that reason out the window, if it was an accident, wouldn't it have made more sense for them to report it, as parents of children who have had an unfortunate accident don't usually get prosecuted.

There's really no point in bringing a case to trial if there is no body in most European countries, it's a waste of taxpayers money. Until that little girl's body is found there will be no trail, that's common legal practice in Portugal, actually, in anywhere in the world other than North America and the UK. Very few places will try to convict without a body which is why their "unsolved" murder cases are much higher than our own. We put a lot more faith in circumstatial evidence.

I think the people of pia de luz should blame the police for their economic suffering they were too buisy trying to frame the mccanns to do a propper investigation and i wish the person who took her would give her back or let the authorities know where she is I have a daughter a little older then madeleine and every time isee a child that age i still look for the unusual iris and people should remember she could be disguised as a boy too
