Your haircut came out pretty good. The problem is the batteries. You are outdoors and probably don't have access to an electric power source. With battery operated clippers, the minute the battery starts to lose power, the clipper blades operate slower. This causes the hair to get stuck in the clipper blades and it then pulls the hair. So it does hurt. Next time bring 2 clippers with their batteries fully charged. Overall I think the haircut went well, and the short hair looks good on you
