I think it's actually more that he's several years older now than when he used to scream as much as he did sing, and they relentlessly tour playing about twenty songs a night. I think after touring a lot for a good few years, he probably just wants to take more of a break from the hardcore side of things. But when he does scream today, it sounds good, I imagine he does look after his voice well.
@scrumpyJ5 if its any consolation he screamed non stop when they were at rams head, ecpecialy ready to fall where they drew out the endign and the crowd would scream "now im standing on the rooftop" then tim would scream ready to fall and it was that for about 2 minuetes but it was awsome.
I love how there's still a lot of the RA punk sound in this as opposed to straight up post-hardcore (as I think most people would describe it). It kinda reminds me of 'Tip the Scales' crashing rage, really wish they would do a one off TKT tour, it would the height of sickkkkkkk. Next Batman film, this should be included, because he's always dressed to fuck!

That comment was just after another listen when I was more familiar with song's flow. Can't believe I've not listened to TKT before, I'm a huge RA fan!
@scrumpyJ5 The Killing Tree is amazing. Such intense music. It's a shame they only released a total of 16 songs (not counting remakes and covers). Luckily the songs are long so it's still a good amount of music. I recommend The Perfect, Look Alive, The Bronze and We Have Awakened.
@MrFlopz I think I'll actually be glad they only released a few songs once I've worked through them all. Not because they'll be bad, more that they'll be so amazing and intense that they can have a spotless record. I'll support bands even if they produce bad records, but if they'd carried on with TKT, RA might have been put to one side, and now Tim's produced two fantastic bands.
So far, I've listened to Dressed to Fuck and Look Alive, the latter being incredible. Tim is one very talented man.

I never though of it till now but this song reminds me of Drones- by rise against and that song was probably influenced by this. i dont know, just parts seem similar at times.

@theyprja tim is the only person that would be the same person in both bands, his voice would go to hell after a few shows though, but he's got such a kick ass voice he could probably do it. thatd be fuckkiing sick if they did though =)

@therealhasharin Well, it was more like "we were never serious about this, its just a side project, so lets all focus on our bands" Tim couldnt get famous with them because he was already with RA in his record company, and they wouldve gotten pissed.Soooooooooooooo...
