I liked the movie, there are some differences from the manga, but not too many like ppl said, The big thing i didn't like is that Ryoma did not have protagonism like he did on the manga, he played once (nice match btw) , his training scenes were TOO short, Tezuka had more protagonism , and it just didn't feel like if Ryoma was the protagonist.

over all, for me this movie is great. There are part that really from the anime that cant be copied but the good thing is movie was created for fun and for movies there are limitations like the length of it itself so dont expect that for every anime that's being turned to movie will be 100% copied. I appreciate the movie...Be broadminded...There are movie rules and unlike anime,you can do whatever you want in making....I love Prince of Tennis...

This movie.. Was definitely not good, in my opinion. & I may get bashed for my comment, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, right?

They simply just skipped too many parts, & didn't do a real good job of developing the characters, especially Ryoma.

If you guys haven't, yet, you should watch the Chinese drama version of PoT.

It's pretty good.. I liked it better than this movie, that's for sure.
