I like the film - seems to me like an accurate view from 'the other side' that a lot of "us" don't have or can't understand, or aren't interested to know about.

I read the comments which say that it is giving an unwanted/unnecessary perspective that crime pays. I disagree. I think it shows the desperation which drives people to crime which is the reality of our country. The moral is that unless we provide an alternative this view that crime pays will continue to be widely held.

what is the moral of this story? i live in jamaica, the last thing we need is (more) persons here thinking that guns and drugs will end up giving them the nice life in England in a Benz. 90% of the people who really do that end up dead or in jail by the time their 18, another kid found dead in the gully bank. i think this is irresponsible, but it is easy to post if you don't have to pick up the gleaner everyday wondering if you're going to know someone who's been killed.
