yeah the tone totally overrides Albert, all you hear is FUZZZZZZZZZZ.

To be honest I'm not sure I've ever heard a fuzz/distortion pedal to get killer blues tone (not saying it can't be done). But its just too much and usually completely unnecessary. Find a good clean tone, maybe add in some overdrive to get the amp to break up a little, and then just stand back and let'er rip.
