it is actually possible to shoot a real m4/m16 style weapon single handed. a .45 is a very common pistol round and it is actually a little bigger (in diameter) than the 5.56 nato round... i wouldn't recommend it since it would be extremely inaccurate and a waste. lol

(I do not know the amount of powder in a 5.56 and .45 round)

the airsoft team I'm in does that all the time. our armory consists of mainly m4/m15 and g36 weapons which are not the best weapons for cqc lol
