@elar55 the F-22 is doing a high alpha pass, look at the Eurofighter Typhoon displays, they do a high alpha pass into a 45 degree loop.

@elar55 some/most fighters can do that at 4:41, it travels at low speed with nose pointing upwards giving the right amount of thrust to keep it in that position and the air is hitting the underbelly to help it stay in that position also, if that makes sense.

Hi wildpilot, the F35 is not slated to fly at the next Riat as yet we (LM) havent made that decision yet but i can tell you this seeing that jet fly is pure unadulterated pleasure, its the best fun you can have with your clothes on =) if you would like to see clips of the F35 flying LM has a channel on here with many clips. As for the F22 isnt it simply awesome i love my planes =).... what do you fly?

@mrjimbeam2009 I don't know about the B1b, but compared to the F-15, I would say the F-22A is a bit louder, from personal experience of having both fly low over my head with afterburners on.

@mrjimbeam2009 i have seen the raptor and f 15 and i would say truly there almost the same but the raptor is more deeper and it kinda depends on how close you are aswell.also thrust kinda isnt what makes the thunder in fighter jets its how hot the air gets from the exhaust because the afterburners get soo hot it heats up the air so fast and makes the air go super sonic the same way a lightning makes thunder.b1 is only louder because you hear it longer,the f 22 i would say is a bit louder thn f15

The highlight for me though was watching about 12 spitfires and hurricanes start up just a few metres away and taxi out to the runway. No modern plane comes close imo.
