Good old time. Going to school and playing SOF/UT/HL/Sin/Deus EX/Outcast..

Nowdays games just not that fascinating anymore. Sin was certainly one of the best FPS back these days. My machine was a intel p200 with a 3dfx Voodoo Monster 3D, and games with Quake 2 engine looked soo cool. Who needs uninspired CoD s with Millions of Polygons ?? Wish that Blade and Elexis will come back to our Computers!

The developers must have had a fetish for loud alarms There was a trip alarms enough throughout this game. Jesus at the start; can you imagine being in a lift all quiet and nice then all of a sudden; red flashing lights and fucking great bells blasting off in your ears.

@jukkafan1 yeah its fun, this must be an old demo showing or something becuase I dont remember this and in the full game you get in that helicopter at the start before going in the bank which is really fun. This guy playing looks like hes playing drunk with a controller though..

This game was made back when games were actually fun... before 2003 or so. Like Deus Ex, Duke3d, Doom, Unreal, Thief, and Wolf3d, I will continue to go back and play Sin every once in a wile. Too bad there is no multiplayer community at all. I don't waste my time with the shortened, streamlined, stripped down experiences that pass for mainstream games today. "Hey, let's split it up into individual episodes or require DLC!"

I grew up on shooters since Wolfenstein3d and Doom, and never had a high-end computer until recently so spent most of my gaming life playing EVERY oldschool fps I could get my hands on, but it's unfair to say that all games past 2003 are shit. At the same time, you're stopping yourself from experiencing a lot of kickass shooters - not all the new games are CoD clones and many actually push the genre forward. Not all of those are mainstream games either...

I enjoyed the single player in this game so much more than Half-life. The levels in Sin all felt like completely different locations and the jokes made me laugh. Too bad there is no multiplayer community left for such a great game. It was a nice lengthy game too, unlike Kingpin. Kingpin was good, but was WAY too short. Now I'm playing Soldier of Fortune, which uses the same engine. It is good, but lacks the personality of Sin. It does have much better graphics though.

Man I remember playing this. My PC back then actually ran the game better than my current PC. It actually glitches out in the middle of the first cutscene (with the pigeon). Thanks to Windows Vista, my PC runs Crysis way better than a 1998 game :p.
