Very well played, but it could have been better. I agree that it could have been a bit more hoot in woodwinds, but the trombone section were a bit lame too. I didn't hear very much from the bass trombone either, not as much as it should be anyway. If you listen to the original recording you'll understand what I mean! The trumpet solo was fantastically well played anyhow and the string where more than O.K. I think everything depends on the conductor, or am I wrong!?

Hmmmm looks like James came made error there, when he hit that major note at 2:11 , maybe a rush to the head....not sure what hapened, and then he just stopped..

poor James. Nice round notes though, he is still My Favourite musician by a long Way!

It's the ending that threw me, I just didn't quite get why James stopped where he did, but I guess that's how it was written...Cheers
