Hi Tory, I've been wondering for a while what these "phony accounts" are. User accounts on different sites and forums? Did you really need a credit card to open up these back then? In that case, don't know what sites you've been on, but I've been on forums since 1995 and I've never been asked to use a credit card. I would be happy if you could clarify this this to me :)

I thought Jennifer Lopez's dad was the Scientologist,not Jennifer. I got the impression from interviews,that she declined to criticize or comment on COS in case it meant disconnection from her dad.

these videos are excellent. breaking it down piece by piece really helps outsiders (like me) to understand what the CoS is, how people get into it, and why so many people are against it.

I guess most people get some simple 'win' on the early courses, and the cult makes sure you feel *really* good about it. It makes you think that there must be something to it, so you hang on, hoping for more wins, but you get brainwashing instead.

What I find surprising is that Lopez and Anthony would join at this point in time, when they are not young and shoudn't be too impressionable and the other Scn celebrities don't seem to be doing so great.
