when i stick this into the USB on my macbook air i immediately get the message "USB port was disabled because device was taking too much power"...how the hell can i charge it then?
Normally I use a usb outlet plug ,and to troubleshoot it I would use another pc to plug it into , if you dont have one maybe a good friend will let you test it on theirs
@mikepsych283 ...thanks for the reply but both of the solutions suggested would leave one problem: how to transfer the music from my mac to this mp3 player?
I wish i could be of more help but Im not a big watersports person . I know at the automotive section you can get a waterproof silicone gel . I would lightly coat it around the section that rust and I mean very light . that would protect it from the salt water. and clean it between uses

I use mine for wakeboarding in salt water and I use it properly getting it wet as little as possible, but somehow the salt or something got into the bit where you attach the headphones, and it rusted it heaps bad, and now it doesn't work.
Is there I way I can stop this happenening to the one im getting next? Do I rinse it under fresh water after every use???
You do realize that you said the black ones are not waterproof and then you put them into the water, right? haha Just messing, great review, I just bought one today!
Well i don't make them I simply review and sell them, and actually the body itself it made out of metal , Bet this would take being dropped more then a nano,or an Itouch, There's is nothing to break and everything I sell comes with a warranty.

Does it skip back and forward between tracks or is it just fast forward and rewind?

really cool the water won't where the sounds are coming from?

It would be niceto see this thing under intense swimming conditions. I wonder how the earbuds hold up to repeated head movements and such.

so you can't use any other water proof headphones?
prayfawind 2 years ago
Nope I think like other companies , these waterproof headphones would not work their waterproof mp3 players. Only the same model and brand.

Oh okay I see - the white ones are waterproof. NICE.
