Is there an ETA for the openbolt system for M4/SCAR. I've read in a review about the HK Toy Fair that the SCAR openbolt conversion kit is available allready, though I can't find it. I need at least one SCAR and 2 M4 versions. I'm waiting to purchase an openbolt PDW until I have my conversion kit's for the other two platforms. I don't like having different systems in my mags...

@calvinnewspaper First fo all, the SCAR mag is NOT the same as the M4/M16/416 mag; not even for the AWSS version guns. The difference is minute, but if used interchangably, the guns will not functioning properly. So the answer to your question is "no", the mags for the 2 guns in the open bolt system will not be compatible with each other.

@calvinnewspaper The diff. in the mags are basically the seating height of the loading/gas vent assembly; so some guns MAY work with both type of mags, but our original design did not intend it to work that way. So you're a lcky man :)

@hipeople9r9 I'm sure you're not very familiar with manufacturing , but love to watch magic shows :) Nothing is 'easy' or 'quick' in this business; WE are the 'quickest' & MAKE things look easy, but the effort behind all that is much more that those that meet the eye. May be the bullpup system is similar on the 2 guns you mentioned, but the actual applications are still much different. NO, we will not make the TAR21 'quick', nor any other guns. There are more than a few projects ahead of them :)

@WEairsoft Im sorry if my statement was wrong, but the PDW in the official german WE shop shoots at 2J, the open bolt at 1.5J. Same for the M14. So i dont know if the power can be increased, because this is the only real deal breaker in my opinion.

Im aware open bolt reduces the cooldown alot, but it would be perfect if I could have a 2.2J G39 :)

@FloChris I've already seen many 2.5J G39C done already :) My personal 'open bolt' PDW shoots around 1.9J & that's only because the laws here prohibits me to tune it highter. My new EBR is shooting 1.9J with the short barrel & I have indeed seen our M14 done at ~3J by some Phillippine airsofters. Now go figure :)

@SwiftDelete No, our guns are set so that the fps cannot be changed easily by the end user for the specific reason that our gun are sold & shipped to many diff. countries/regions around the world with diff. import laws & regulations. Allowing easy adjustment of fps would create much trouble for us if some importers are careless(or reckless) about that. In fact our guns are typically shipped with fpa around 110-130fps.

One thing for sure, none of the existing GBB bolts will be compatible, simply because our 3rd-Gen Open Bolt system is a far superior design & very much different than anything on the market today. Why would we make anything compatible to anyone's anyway??? And certainly not a company that went belly-up & got sold completely :)

@packgen Again, red gas is NOT recommended for use with any of our gas magazines. The gun can handle the higher pressure (since they are Co2 compatible), but our gas magazines are NOT designed to handle any gas with higher pressure than top/green gas.

@dudeonacomputer What are you talking about?? What stock hinge plate...?? The stock on this gun does not 'hinge' at all.... I believe you're referring to the SCAR; if that is the case, then the hinge plate issue from the very 1st batch was solved like over 8 months ago!!

Normal wear & tear occurs in both the gas & co2 guns. Co2 does NOT put more wear on the internals of any of our guns; the gas is regulated in the mag before entering the gun.

My WE M4 Gen3 spilts some bb´s after a few mags and makes the other bb´s get stucked in the pipe. Will this open bolt system be more gentle with the bb´s?
