In the first games, there are actually two mosquitos.

However, in later versions apparently they kept the same mosquito to avoid the confusion ('n 'delay) that followed with the previous games.

The PC version you have is the original Rayman 1 disc that comes by itself. There are 2 other PC versions too. I have the Rayman Gold PC version of it and I don't know about the song tracks. There's a Special Edition of the PC version called Rayman Forever and that one has different song tracks for each level and some ones that don't exist in other PC versions. You won't get as many song tracks if you don't have the Rayman Forever Special Edition of the PC version.

Interesting. I'm aware of the later PC versions but wasn't about the change in the soundtrack. I assume they used another division of the tracks as they did in the PS version which was more advanced, however they were hardly new tunes at all, it was mainly about more complicated and custom playing of the tracks that were merged together for larger themes in the original PC version. Can go further into details but it's hard here...

I have a youtube m8 of mine called rayfan9876 who has the Rayman Forever Special Edition of the PC version. He has made a long run of it and uploaded it (the first few parts have some statical sound problems so be prepeared to turn the volume down but at least the quality ain't THAT bad). If you want to watch it from part 1 then type in Rayman Long Run Part 1 (PC) on the video seach bar. In part 1 you'll see that he's using the Rayman Forever Special Edition.

No uhm I have the PS1 version the cave is red, and Skops goes "Hmm" not "Bleuug"

Most of that is true, except for the stinger. The sound is higher pitched too. I have the PS1 and GameBoy versions. I'm not sure if the Jaguar works anymore, but I'll count that version too... I want to see videos of it, especially the part where you ride Moskito...
