Of course Diva won't understand how to do things the right way she was only taught pain so as most children do she reciprocated what she was taught. The real victim here is Diva and the real question is why would anyone feel bad for Saya?

@katanateen33 She might have them, but may not be able to use them because she doesn't have enough blood in her system. Saya doesn't drink human blood like Diva does. She gets blood transfusions, but that is not fresh blood and therefore not as effective. That is also the reason why Diva is stronger. Solomon couldn't transform into a full chiropteran when fighting James because he didn't have enough blood. So I believe that their abilities are dependent on how much blood they have.

They both got each other's blood. If Diva's blood lost it's power to crystallize Saya's blood, then Diva shouldn't have been affected when she got Saya's blood.
