The Camaro has gotten a bad rap for a decade or so because of the jokers (rednecks, guidos, pwts etc.) who drive them. But who didn't like the 1998 thru 2002's? The last couple of years they made them they were pretty damn cool and the new one that is coming out next year is going to kicks ass, with the looks to boot. They will never be as cool as the Corvette.
