I soooo wanted it and watched this trailer several times. And when it came out I throughoutly enjoyed it ^^. I think I played it till the end and came back to it several times just to hear the music/ enjoy the graphics xD.
Amaze Entertainment really amazed with this game.
Yet I never figured out what this games multiplayer mode was all about.
The game was a little bit of a disappointment. I thought I was going to play Sapphira as in, "fly around, land, rip some enemy's heads off, take off, kill a few enemies with fireballs, repeat." But no, in the DS game they inly let you fly through rings. How lame is that?! The book was by far the best part of the Eragon title.

The Ra'zac shouldn't die, Saphira doesn't call herself Saphira after she magically grows in flight, Sloan doesn't get eaten when Eragon's watching outside the house and where's Solembum when he meets Angela?
And yeah, the dying of the Ra'zac is a large problem because of the third book (I won't give away any spoilers).
I agree with you: the film is poor, if you've read the book. The characters don't seem to fit the actors, and they all look a lot different then I imagined.
However, when you didn't read the book, Eragon is a very nice film with good special effects and a lot of adventure :)

Actually mouth i remember that Eragon uses brisingr on his sword and stabbs durza. If arya slowed the crystals there would be no way it could have hit durza without him realizing what happend. But other than that, i think u r right.
Eragon goes into a hall, i am sure and there he gets sorrounded by Urgals and Durza.
Arya comes right after on Saphira and flyes directly into the Crystal (omg its a big one! porr saphira, what a headbang :D) and it splintres. Arya says the ancient word :"Letta" (means stop) i am not sure but i think it was that she said, so the splinters was slow enough so she could grab eragon and fly away while the Urgals and Durza got impaled.
The Varden is a secret place for all rebels who does not want to join Galbatorix.
There are also a dragon-coloseum. It is the same place Eragon was training with Arya. There are caves. When Eragon and Saphira entered it, saphira did really like the caves. There are also a big crystal which is the dwarves proudness. Well. Then the Urgals attack and eragon gets wounded. Therefor he and saphira needs to get away (if eragon dies then saphira dies too).
It is also shown that the Dwarves kidnapp Murtag (wrong spelling) and that Murtag and Eragon are brothers and that Morzan is their father. Also, Murtag steals Eragon's sword. How:Murtag defeats Eragon and Saphira and almost kills them Eragon pleads for Murtag to stop (Loser) and to return the the good side. Murtag just offers to spare eragon and saphira and he walks off with his new dragon (Murtag's Dragon is shown on the Cover of the second book)
They skipped some magic Eragon learned and how some evil Dwarves made Eragon summon a whiteish/silverish dragon thingy but then arya scares them off by doing just that. Later it is shown that the Dwarves betrayed the Varden and that Eragon's cousin eventually kills them
ANYWAY, the stone or glass thing was the varden's (or maybe the dwarves who helps the varden)most precious gem. Now i really think it is the vardens because i remember that made the varden really mad at the elves
Durza is about to kill Eragon saying "There is noone to protect you now boy" But Arya breaks a stone or glass thing (ill explain later) that splashes everywhere. Using the distraction, Eragon uses brisinger on his own sword and uses that to stab durza in the chest as he sees Arya riding on Saphira then falls unconsious
Eragon is killing the mages in the battle when durza comes in. They both rise into the air like the movie and fight i think (havent read book for a LONG time) and eragon get knocked off. Then durza gets of his dark magic creature and they fight on the ground.
They didn't show a lot of imporant stuff Eragon discovered at the Varden (that is where he enchants the child too), they changed how eragon kills durza COMPLETELY. I will tell that to u now
They didnt let Solembum introduce the quote "When you need a weapon look under the tree of something" or the quote "When your powers are gone speak your name to the rock of something" (Eragon actually finds the tree in the second book)
They made it so Eragon discovers brom is a dragon rider in 1 second (in movie it is when brom died brom tells eragon), they didnt reveal brom's dragon was also named Saphira, they didnt even mention Morzan (i think)
I dont have space to put all stuff they skipped :(. More stuff: Eragon enchanted a child (IMPORTANT) they skipped a lot of stuff with eragno's cousin which has a great deal to story, they didnt introduce his girlfriend (eragon's cousin not eragon).

What I've noticed about the movie is that people who read the book said it sucked (I thought it sucked). People who hadn't read the book said it was good.

The game is awesome! And so is the movie, but the book is the best. Several facts that I would like to bring out. Eragon is not a Star Wars rip off! The movie is translated from the book exactly like how most books are translated into movies. Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Why are there so many Eragon movie haters here anyway? Those who look something up that they don't like needs a life.

I got the game and it really good but I'm not that smart in video games and that so it took me like a week until I learnt how to save it....I'm just stuck on that head Urgal dude. I just can't kill him.

its easier to beat trapped if your playing co-op, cause the other person playing as brom can distract and try to keep the ra zaac
off u wile u get the brambles and stuff off saphira...but on one player it sucks cuz brom is always leading them to you...

This game is way too short... its a pretty fun rpg but it kills eragon storyline :(
I think if they used th egame engine that was used for this game to make a light mmorpg for the ds that would be AMAZING! (not an eragon mmo)

The game is awesome! And so is the movie, but the book is the best. Several facts that I would like to bring out. Eragon is not a Star Wars rip off! The movie is translated from the book exactly like how most books are translated into movies. Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Why are there so many Eragon movie haters here anyway? Those who look something up that they don't like needs a life.

ok the movie would have been better if the director would have hired a better screenwriter! i saw the extra bonus features on the dvd. the writer said he actually talked with chriss about the book so he could get a better idea of what he had to wirte! that is some major bs b/c he butchered the storyline!!
