Im white, from very small town in NY, married a black man in 1963 - we had 38 years together until his death. we lived in Boston 7 years and were house hunting. At a HUD property, the tenant demanded of real estate agent "how dare you bring THESE people here?" He threw a pad on the counter and ordered him to write his name and agency on the paper. Outside,the occupants of EVERY house on the street were on their porches  I thought who would want to live in a neighborhood full of people like this

all I can say is get the hell out of Scranton, PA ASAP...that city looks like the armpit of 'Merka....come try Indiana, yeah it's *conservative* politically bit at least the folks here are nice and polite!

@oneirishpoet I am from Scranton and this is just one encounter of asshole teenagers that this man encountered. This city is very diverse. The rest of the city is not like this.
