Well it just means that oppression through force of arms would be very difficult. There are 100million gun owners in America. Many of them former military. The AR15 is the top selling rifle in the country. We have much more than just shotguns and pistols. Body armor, assault rifles, silencers, night vision, machine guns, etc. So if and when the time comes to retake the country, just a % or 2 of the armed population would have to go to battle.
