@kbusuego It's an AMF 82-70. It uses what is called pindication for scoring. It feels for pins when it goes down to respot them. In the case of a strike, no pins are standing so it goes straight into a spot cycle. Most 82-70's in operation now use a camera for scoring.
@ALV524 The AMF 82-70 pinsetters were originally set up to bring the spotting table down after a strike was made since they did not have the electronic equipment when they were first produced. Many have since been upgraded.
what skind of style of pinsetter is that?,its not a2,gs,gsx or amf, when he got a strike, why would a pinsetter goes down and goes up quickly?

The pindeck should not be come down when there is a strike cycle in amf 82-70 pinsetter?
ALV524 1 year ago
@ALV524 Double detect cycle, witch seems all pinsetters do, nothing new here. Strike and pindeck feels for pins, no pins, then sets new rack.

The bowling center I go to has the exact same sweep and is an AMf pinsetter :|

@ 3amrepmike3 Me thinks there are Mendes Magnetic pins in the mix. 1 of 2 things here
1) The center had Mendes MM2001 or Qubica Mag3IT and had them replaced by 82-70s or
2) They must have gotten them from a center with said machines the when under due to said crappy pinsetters
