That quick clip at 1:40 against the Vancouver Grizzlies, I don't believe that was it, but if it was there next to last game of the season that year, that was my first game. I actually am lucky enough to have a copy of that game completely, and I know back then they didn't broadcast all 82 games, but I have the Grizzlies broadcasting feed on this DVD, so that's why I think that. Nontheless a great play as they all are. Man did I love this TEAM.
Dogu Christie steals the ball, fires the ball to Jason Williams, who sends a jaw-dropping behind the back pass to the slashing Peja Stojakovic for the layup!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He reminds me a lot of John Starks except not as emotional. A very streaky shooter. Like Starks I don't think he made it to the NBA based on his natural ability. Mostly on effort and hustle.
We had him here in Toronto, and I liked him too, never felt that he took off-nights or was a slacker. Always gave 100%. Too he couldn't hit the big shots in GM7 WCF's vs. the Lakers in '02.

he was a rare guy in the NBA, had an amazing defensive game and had good offense to go with it.

I think he's better than Starks--better defender & much better passer.
But you're right about the streaky shooter/less emotional than Starks assessment.
