  • cute =)

  • OK, I apologize for my ignorance, but I thought that 1940 was before color television. Was it restored to color, or are the animations from a later series in around the 70s?

  • wow

  • I thought mel blanc's voice was unaltered. I guess he wasn't so great after all. Altered, it's almost as good a cartoon voice as Candi Milo's. Unaltered, it's nothing.

    Not even Casey Kasem level.

  • @kozmon0t That's disgusting.

  • @DonaldvsSephy I'd ask why, but I'd rather just say fuck you.

  • @kozmon0t Fuck ME? No thanks.

Comparing Mel Blanc to Candi Milo is like comparing Charlie Chaplin to Michael Bay.

  • But some data is wrong! woody started it in 1940, but the first time he changed was in early 1943, and the final design was given to him overseas 1951 and beyond! except for... he changed eyes between 1955-1960 XD

  • Who would win in a fight bugs bunny or woody woodpecker?

  • Nice pipes, Woody. :D

  • Woodpecker. Demon Barber of Seville.

  • This was remade as a Bugs Bunny cartoon! The Bugs Bunny version won awards. I never knew it had been done before with Woody Woodpecker.

  • Funny but psychodelic :D

  • @BlueDragon992 I think that back in the 40's, 50's etc. they had to use special machines to make the actors' voices have a higher pitch, tone, or whatever, but Billy West didn't need to use any machine to nail Woody Woodpecker's voice at least I don't think he did, never the less that's why his voice is my favorite version of Woody Woodpecker's voice and his Woody's laugh is the BEST

  • omg woody wood pekcer is loonier than bugs bunny? O.O

  • excellent baritone singing largo al factotum. thanks for sharing!

  • i like 1947

  • I'd never imagine that Woody's was edited as such a long time ago. Must've gotten the Chipmunk treatment.

Also, I want the download of "The Sleigh". It's too catchy for me now XD

  • Man, you can't beat them old school voice actors. Serious pipes on those mother fuckers.

  • on 0:14 i thoug WALTER LANTZ'ht Grace Stafford shoulen did that, Grace Stafford is a women!!! WALTER LANTZ'S WIFE!!!!

  • I remember seeing Blanc's grave at Hollywood Forever Cemetary.

    RIP Mel Blanc!

  • whats wrong with "the magic beans"?! i found it out that it features woody woodpecker on 0:06

  • i loved this as a kid thanks for the clip

  • 1:01 that guy must have pissed woody woodpeker off

  • @awayofgreen12 I always figured that it was just the crazy nature of WW himself. Either way, its hilarious!

  • Wow - sounds weird to hear the voices at the correct speed. But I still like it...

  • Walter Lantz the artist creator designer of Woody Woodpecker - actually did the voice-over for the first recorded "voice" of Woody..

  • 2:16 - 2:28

Dont matter how much I watch this, I'll still laugh at this part

    LoL

  • the barbershop scene made me Lul

  • Thanks for making this tired ole face smile!

    :0)

  • Were these highered for the film? cos this voice is lower

  • Wow

  • when was this show aired

  • thank you very much for posting.

very helpful for esl leaners like me

  • Along with Ben Hardaway and Mel Blanc (for the earlier ones).

  • TY!

    :)

  • It always feels like Mel Blanc just voiced every single cartoon character in the golden age of animation. Anyway, the voice actors that played Woody after Mel are pretty good except fro Billy West in my opinion. Billy's Woody voice sounds nothing like Mel's voice or the other impersonators. But I think Billy is good at Woody's laugh though.

  • i love wood n peckers

  • on the sleigh its not higher it hya and Ho Hal Lo not hey ah o

  • Lol, he got mugged at the end.

  • Very Impressive! Long live of Woody Woodpecker.

  • lol

  • Woody from the 50's isnt really good. His laugh is horrible!

  • thank for the video i love pajaro loco

  • LMAO! Woody is fucking nuts, I feel bad for that guy!

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkk... Muito Bom! Bons Tempos...

  • Mel Blanc did the original voice until Warners forced him into an exclusive voive contract.

  • not always

  • that was actually danny kaye as woody wood pecker.

  • what is the name of the chapter of the second song????

  • "The Barber of Seville". You can check on related videos.

  • Buena esa ahora has roto el corazon a todos los niños del mundo, pendejo

  • Esa eso era la voz original, lo que pasa es que lo ponen rapido. Asi hacen actualmente con "South Park".

  • I think was Mel Blanc the singer!

  • Not Lightly Flying O'er Snow

    Not Blanket White

Really is Life be fine over the snow

All the world's in black and white

  • it sounds like woody is a teenager.

  • Yes, you're right. I think I pitched down too much... but I doubt her voice was natural. They sped up the voice, like the previous ones

  • I just used some program to transpose the voices to the "correct" pitch

  • Amazing! 5/5

  • Great man...

  • alot.....

    wwow

    thanks.

  • COOL! GREAT JOB.

  • Awesome!!!
