Alex Leifson. Worlds most underrated guitarist. Sadly, one of the best. I rate him with Howe, Jimi Page, Toni Iommi, Brian May, Crushes Hendrix, McLaughlin et al..., , As far as chops and melodies, I am hard pressed to think of a anyone better.

@hershysquirts187 they're Tied with the Who, YES, Kansas, Tull. Seen them all in their prime. Rush are monster live players. You get every pennies worth, and then some, at a Rush concert. It's tough to find groups that can play complex studio stuff live. Genesis Phones it in.

I love Rush, but I think they should hire a new vocalist for the high stuff because Geddy is going to destroy his voice in that upper register. Vocal chords can only take so much and he has a choice to keep doing this and lose everything, or just sing the lower songs, hire a separate vocalist for the high stuff, and keep the band going another twenty years. His voice is still beautiful in the lower ranges.
