I love Kristen Bell, so hot. I think they changed the demeanor of Kristen's character for this type of scene in the movie. In the audition she comes off as genuinely sympathetic to Peter, whereas in the movie she seems like she is kind of faking sympathy, but is actually totally self-centered.

Actually, she is brilliant. An occasional break is totally acceptable in an unscripted screen test. It has a lot more to do with chemistry and the embodiment of the character.

@kristicuk They just showed you, haha. Actors have to improvise, sometimes, if the script is screwed up, and the gag reel in a movie is a perfect example of a situation where actors have to act through the laughter...it's all part of the job.

@kristicuk It's all part of being an actor. Film actors actually have it relatively easy to theatre actors, in my opinion. In film you can do a scene again if you screwed up, but in theatre you have to keep going, there could be severe technical failures which you would have to keep acting in, and there's also a live audience which you have to work around
