  • Why aren't there more Japanese bands like this, especially as Japan tops the world in making rock music gear (Yamaha, Roland, BOSS to name a few)? This is a fucking awesome song! :)

  • I kind of love the makeup job here, even if everything else about this reeks of 80s cheesiness.

  • Not sure I like the Asian Hair Metal look...but this song is awesome...and the singer has a cool voice.

  • I LOVE These GUYS!!! Way better than Loudness!!!

  • EZO, Loudness and Anthem proved the Japanese could rock with the best of them...

  • This is absolutely fuckin' awesome. It blows me away every time I listen to it and I ca'nt stop to sing the chorus on and on...

    Cheers from Brazil!

  • EZO dissolved. Loudness is STILL touring!!

  • I wish they would re release this CD It is so expensive out of print it appears!

  • I love this group!!!

  • This band KicKs ASS They sound great and look fuckin awsome! Period!!

  • Jesus...

    ANIME POST APOCOLYPTIC DECANDENT COOL

pretty much sums it all up in one song

like the album Hotter than Hell came to life & spawned itself.

I LOVE the accent, totally makes this song.

  • i saw these guys at the old Sneakers years ago. they put on a great show.

  • hey kick fucking assssssssssssssssss..... see them live

    end of story

  • whoooooooooo you drive me wild lol classic

  • I'm a redneck and I love this band too. They kicked ass! They were easily one of the top 5 HM Bands in the day. These keyboard warriors that don't have anything nice to say about anybody can lick my balls. Grow up.

  • WASP fail

  • @80sHardRockLover fail? thats a fucking win!

  • WOOOOOOOO

  • midgets lol

  • 俺が高校の時に最高に好きでした

    今見ても最高ですね

  • Asian metal musicians are FUCKING BOSS. This brings back MEMORIES, God bless you "Ray".

  • @CrashAndBurn316 saw them without makeup in 90 lmours Brooklyn. they were very good they did alot of improvising metal and fusion solo's. Drummer killed me. I was friends with a drummer back then who then started a fusion band with the guitarist from this band. Funny the the japenese guitarist was embaressed and hated this band. He would not talk, discuss, play or have anything to do with his past exp...with EZO.

  • how get this song Flashback Heart Attack "Loser"

  • メイクはともかく今聞いてもカッコイイ

  • 1987: one of the best years for ANY KIND OF METAL OR ROCK!

  • these guys are 80's japanese hair bands at its finest. Loudness kicks ass too. Where are these guys now, ad what are they doing?

  • I meant Loudness.... my typing error

  • These Japanese bands are fascinating. I first became aware of them while watching music videos on TV in 1987. My favorite Japanese band was Loundness with their tune "Crazy Nights",so I bought the album.

  • Reminds me of the Power Rangers. I wish I knew why. :D

  • Gene Simmons produced the band, anyone who has a clue would see the KISS Connection. Unless you are so stupid that you had no idea Gene Simmons was in KISS

  • ACE FREHLEY ON THE DRUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fuck the assholes if you never seen them you would never know they was Japanese and the this song rocks had this on cassette bk when having a walkman was the shit I only brought 2 albums in 87 this and Appetite for Destruction

  • I remember this song from way back. Just heard it again on Dee's House of Hair tonight. A big thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great song, I almost forgot aboout this one!!

  • in those days you didn't care if they were from different countries...just rock baby...today's youth are little racist bitches...who think only whitey rocks...!..by the way i'm white

  • one of Gene Simmons best finds!

  • An incredible singer!

  • hey dumbasses....music comes in ALL colors,it's a universal language that the whole world understands...........so taste the rainbow, you will probably like it

  • what a cool makeup xD

havent noticed this band till now. how bad of me

  • NOW THIS IS HEAVY METAL FROM JAPAN (YEAH!!!)

  • Its a good 80's metal/hard rock song. The cd is good. I bought it as a teenager when it was new. To all the haters who hide on the internet I say only one thing: Wheres your record? Even if a band sucks, they can go to their graves saying "we did it" what have you little haters ever done? fckin losers

  • naruto hand signs

  • 日本人の方に。。。これアメリカ発売なのに発音最悪だよね。。。いいのかなぁ。。。

  • @kskcom1021

    いや、そんなに悪くないよ。

  • Gene Simmons discovered this band. classic

  • @ghosthuntingfl He produced their first album and was possibly behind the namechange of the band from Flashback to EZO. Gene didn't discover them, they're from Sapporo, Japan.

  • @Shadowchylde Not Flashback - Flatbacker.

  • @TommaKeen yeah, blond moment while watching the vid :P

  • @TommaKeen No, its. "FRASH BACK HREART ATTACK"

  • This song kicks!!!!!!

  • Where the hell are all these fucking amazing Japanese bands are now? All modern pop-rock sounds like shit in comparison.

  • This kicks ass!

  • its kiss, japanese style. not bad, old school touch. The japanese can do metal. Maximum the horemone for one. There are other bands than that, but they look like glam style, so it may through ppl off. But then, id glam it up too.

  • Who is anyone kidding??

    These guys suck.

A black hole sucks less light than these guys suck at playing anything remotely close to music - which if I was given the choice of either sandpapering my eyeballs while compressing my nut-sack in a vice or else attending an EZO 'concert' (wink-wink) I'd happily go with the former.

The japanese should stick to manufacturing cameras & building nuclear fission reactors.

    Err... on second thought :D

  • In Heavy Metal Happy Hour's latest video of The Master's Sack, the Master of Metal was asked what band he wants to see reunite. He mentioned this band. However I do not know if they will respond to the video. They must be middle aged or older this decade.

  • More of a corpse paint look instead of a glam slut haha

  • @6cob6hc6 which makes EZO sweet

  • that bass kick at 2;27, fuckin epic

  • wel lollig

  • WoW, I opened for Ezo back in 1990 at club called FMs in Plainveiw NY.

  • These Guys Kick Serious Ass!!! It don't matter if these guys are Japanese, Chinese, Australian, Dutch or whatever. As long as they play like this they Kick Ass!!! Shit, they could be from Jupiter for all I care!!!

    HEAVY METAL FUCKING RULES!!!

  • ほんとスゴイ声だな 同じ日本人とは思えない 尊敬!

  • This album just plain KILLED! "Fire Fire" (second record) was also excellent, they just got lost on the glut of hair metal and with being tagged as a Loudness off-shoot - which was bunk! They were better than Loudness, and better than most of the bands on Headbanger's Ball every week. Not that Takasaki wasn't a good player, but Loudness always sounded like Japanese VanHalen, these guys had their own sound from the gate.

  • @serloren

Van Halen essentially created Glam metal. You can say that for ANY band that got their start on the Sunset strip in the 1980s.

  • Gene Simmons of Kiss produced these guys

  • Super

  • Love this band saw them at the Empire in Philly back in the day!

  • help me buy more 420 and cheezburgas please im broke fat balding ld man love to see old gilf hoes with no teeth fuknsuck downlaod old lady false teeth porn at

    c l i p s 4 s a l e c o m/6780

  • This band is awesome...I can't get enough been listening to them over and over.

  • This song kicks my ass and the album it's on rocks hard! E-Z-O is awesome( or was??? ) .

  • Ahhhh. I remember this band!!! They blew ass then, and they blow ass now.

  • Seen Black n blue with these guys at the Country Club and at the Green Door,,,,

  • pure goodness!

  • I think I produced this video in London?????

  • Saw them open for Crue in Theater of Pain Tour in NYC and NJ!

  • @liamcear12 You are thinking of the Japanese rock band Loudness, not EZO

  • @TeslaGroove Your right!

  • I sense some hate on this page...Are some of you racists? just cause they're Japanese, i mean really man....i don't really like it that much either but that doesn't mean there aren't any good Japanese bands. stop being such stereotypical white trash you goddamn redneck deadbeats.

  • @samuraipanda79 lol I think you lost my respect for you apparent, 'moral indignation' when you said, "i mean really man....i don't really like it that much either but" haha talk about shooting yourself in the foot, falling on your own sword, buddy.

  • @samuraipanda79 i agree on the last part!

japan has very good rock bands. and gerat great guitarheroes. they create unbelievable hymns and ballads. and rock songs.

greets from germany! im a fan of japanese rock since 1998.

  • @samuraipanda79 I'M A "REDNECK" AND I DON'T HATE NOBODY! NOW, CAN YOU DEFINE THE TERM "REDNECK"? IT'S JUST A WORKIN MAN. WE GOT A BAD STIGMA ATTACHED TO US THAT JUST DON'T BELONG. IT'S LIKE IF YOU DONT LIKE OBAMA, WELL YOU'RE A RACIST! TELL YOUR FRIENDS! BY THE WAY, I LOVE EZO! AND LOUDNESS AND EARTHSHAKER! AND GOD LOVE THE 80'S!!!!!

  • @samuraipanda79

what you say is 100 percent true and if they were african or latino they wouldn't say anything

  • @samuraipanda79 I'm a redneck and i LOVE THIS BAND so who is sterotypical

  • OMFG DEMAAAISSSS!!!!

  • OMG I almost forgot about these guys. I had this album way back when. Holy snap.

  • I love them. Sometimes I get sick of the white metal bands.

  • Hahaha!!! HOLY CRAP! I haven't thought about this band in, well, 2 decades!!! Thanks for posting this!

  • Fuckin' GLAM-tastic!!

  • I had this album along with Keel, Vinnie Vincent.. etc...

  • his english is good, unlike the rest i don't even know what they are saying

  • WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THIS SONG OR ALBUM???

  • man hiro was so young here hahaha now look at em in Anthem haha

  • Bad ass!!! LOVE THEM!

  • when is this music going to be played on our radios again?

  • Yeah, the Japanese Metal Invasion was on in the 80's. With bands like EZO, Loudness and Dead End. I lived throught it and Loved every minute of it. =0)~

  • The sound reminds me of WASP

  • this was actually the first metal band i ever listened to (or one of the). My bro used to have their casette and we kept listenin it...good times xD i think he still has it somewhere..

  • Wow , haven't seen this in forever ! I had their cassette. There is a video by EZO I remember where the scene is really industrial, their guitars had big rivets and were really cool. I remember I liked that song alot. Does anyone remember?

  • @gypsygenie1

you are probably thinking of the "Here It Comes" video they released after this one... Shoyo's guitar is metal-looking with rivets. they also released one for "Kiss Of Fire in early '88."

  • yeah and they didnt know a lick of english , it was all by memory

  • I was a kid in LA and got a friend to drive me to Anaheim, CA for a daytime radio promo show they were doing at some dive club. They were pretty amazing!

  • These Guys are Great...................

  • I LOVE this song! These guys are all so sexy!!!!

  • AMAZING VOICE!!! F**K another awesome hard hitting band that should have been so much bigger then they were.

  • @HMFantasyRidesAgain

ohh they're bigger than you imagine

  • @meowtrox Oh... *wink* I did not think they could ever get "big enough"!

  • Too bad, the vocalist is a bassist of a crappy band in NYC and the guitarist is a sushi chef in Miami :( I don't know other 2 members.

  • Bought this when it came out...I think it was around the same time as the "Thunder in the East" album from Loudness, so there was a Japanese wave for a while there, good song. I read the guitarist is a chef, now.

  • AWESOME

  • my band (((Furthest Krueger)))

    Please retrieve it with youtube.

  • My band in the late 80's opened for EZO at Sal's Rockblock in Nashville. These guys were exellent musicians & very humble. They couldn't speak much English though. I remember during their soundcheck, the bass player started playing the bassline for "Dr Feelgood" & was shakin his head from left to right, as if to say, Damn we got ripped off!! Then he started into "Destroyer".... Which was written about Gene Simmons....Hence the lyrics.."Destroyer on leather wings"...

  • @Rixx5637 ........ WOW, you really met these guys ?! ... and what was your band name back then, and for how long ? ... do you remember LeatherWolf ? ... i was part of that group and era ... huntington beach ca. ;-)

  • @bobbyalligator7 Yeah, I got the pics to prove it! They're tour manager was a total asshole though. I was takin pictures of them during their soundcheck, & the big lardass tackled me & took the film out of my camera.

  • why whernt these guys realy famouse?

  • Produced by KISS's Gene Simmons; is it any wonder that they sound just like KISS? Listen to that bass line, slides just like Gene.

Awesome song, awesome band. Awesome album. I never met these guys, but one of them said he knew me...

    Rik Fox/Steeler

  • This is not what I would call glam in the American sense. Visual Kei, most certainly, but not glam in the dumbass sleaze sense--besides, EZO were way heavier than most bands in that field, comparatively speaking. Too bad they changed so much for the second album and went downhill in so doing. :(

  • Don't know what to Dwwooouu.. HAHA! Jokes aside. They were awsome! =)

  • what a fuckin track....what a fuckin band...the 80's were the best....glad i was there.......

  • Is there a Japanese metal band out there that don't have an Ibanez Destroyer-esque in their repertoire? Not that I'm complaining, they are pretty sick.

  • These guys rocked! Great late 80's band that got lost in the shuffle.

  • Old school - nice

  • Ahh.. This killer song was co-written by James Christian, pre- House of Lords i presume.

  • Kiss influence??? Mhmmm.... Produced by Gene Simmons. Whats wrong with that? Besides, is there any band out there that has not been influence by Kiss at some point. This is one of my favourites cds ever.

Man thesee guys were so talented. Why they never hit the big time is unbelievable. Bands like Kix, Britny Fox, L.A Guns sold pretty good, but these guys blow them out of the water without breaking a sweat!

  • metalheart - this is one of my Favorite Tapes

bought it in 87. you think thats bad. my "MetalHead" friends didnt like EZO,Loudness or Accept. But when 91 came & Nivana,Pearl jam & Alice in chins came on the scene they went crazy over them?

    over played top 40 Rock

  • a little 2 much KISS influence on their image... they're good tho \m/

  • Gene Simmons produced these guys -- hence -- the over-the-top look. But yeah, they rock!

  • @guitarslinger32269 actually, Gene tried to talk them out of wearing that much make-up but they insisted on keeping it... ironic considering how KISS was given hell in their early days and asked by neil bogart and others at their label if they'd consider dropping the make-up! i thought they looked cool as shit!

  • Slash mentioned this band in his autobiography, and said they were great. He was right.

  • WPH - yeah so did Tommy lee of Motley crue in 1987, 2 years later in 1989

    Dr. feelgood becomes a "Hit"

listen to EZOs song Destroyer from

    this tape 1987. "Riff Ripoff"

  • I really love the Crue, so I wouldn't say anything bad about them. But hey, if they did rip these guys off, at least they picked a good band to steal a riff from.

  • @MetalHeart8787 Yeah. Crue probably waasn't a hit without Flashback Heartattack, Irregardless of "Too fast for Love", Shout At the Devil", Oh yeah they copied "Smokin in The BoyzRoom"! too. What about "Wildside", "Looks That Kill", "Girls, Girls, Girls", and FLASHBACK HEARTATTACK? DOUCHE!!!!!

  • kkpriest - I DIDN"T SAY they

"never wouldhave been Big" just stating a Fact fool, READ My comment again ive been a Motley crue since 1986.

" Douche Juice" Big Fukin DEAL

  • @MetalHeart8787 Hey Bro you're right about Crue rippin off somebody for "Dr. Feelgood" But I think both bands got the riff ( EZO's Destroyer) from Thin Lizzy's "Holy Wars" off the "Thunder & Lightning" album written in 1983. Dr. Feelgood's drumbeat , & bassline on the intro is almost the same as Thin Lizzy's. If you can't find the track on here email me & I'll send you a copy of it. Thin Lizzy influenced a lot of bands in the 80's

  • great in every way~!

  • you are so right!

  • this band is fantastic

  • What the f***? its japanese axel rose.

  • wow it wasn't looks like a japanese band haha glam heavy metal rules !!

  • I had this album in 87. Thank God, because everywhere you turned, Bon Jovi was playing.

  • one of my favorites, EZO,i love their albums

  • Lame video, great song

  • muito show esses caras são muito bons curto muito. quem diria..... heavy metal no japão

  • Demais!

  • EZO Is the best band out of Japan EVER! If you don't own or heard all of there debut album titled EZO(1987) or FIRE FIRE(1989) you shoudn't comment negatively !

  • I like this song. The singer has very butchered English, but their awesome make-up and whatnot is what makes it. Plus, I just like J-Rock in general, and it's awesome when an act gets known in America and elsewhere. Great vid

  • they played this on KNAC in the late mid 80's , very catchy

  • Great Sound

  • is that true yamada was the person who sang black widow-loudness?

  • IMO, lead vox actually sounds a lot like klaus meine of the scorpions.

  • fyi, they were actually sined by gene simmons! lol

  • Love the lead's voice :)

  • ビクターの本気出してた時代だね!

  • Leads singer LOOKS a bit like Michael Jackson here. Neg me if you want, but it's the fucking truth.

  • This rocks! =D

    Yamada is GREAT at English!!

  • They kick ass. Too bad they broke up + they should have kept the makeup on. I'm not saying they're ugly without it but it would have been really kick ass to have just kept it on. With or without makeup, these gentlemen kick maximum ass. EZO RULES!!!

  • Good band. No bad.

  • it was so obvious that these guys had Gene Simmons working with them. Just look at their face paint and Costumes. The drummer's looks kinda like Ace Freilly lol.

  • just reading slash's autobiography and it mentioned this band so i thought i'd have a listen, very cool song

  • Gene Simmons produced this album.

  • 当時、この曲のシングルレコード買った。

    片面だけしか溝が無くて、1曲入り400円だった。

    当時普通のシングルが700円くらいして、それだと

    たぶん買えなかったからあの発売の仕方には感謝

    した。

  • O.o ok... NOW I have seen EVERYTHING Japanise, that speaks ENGLISH!!!! =O And Better that I!!!!!!!!! ZOMG!!!!!

  • quit comparing

  • Thank you for up-loading. This video and the tune were very loved.

  • AWESOME song!!!

I first heard it in 2003 on "metal mania"

it sux that it didnt go further in the usa

  • I thought I had heard just about every metal band from the 'Big Hair' days but somehow I have managed to miss this group.

Great voice from such a little fella and a pretty good song to boot.

  • They were produced by Gene Simmons, by the way.

  • @jimmyapple LOL

  • @jimmyapple only the first album by EZO. and Gene had nothing to do with Vow Wow (the original name/group).
