as regards the question about keeping club heads shiny! A product called Silvo is the best. It brings club heads like new. Widely available in the UK in most DIY stores not sure about the US but you can buy on ebay for £2.50 - £3.00
@golfinggod95 If they are really, really slick, wash then dry, sand and wash again. Otherwise if they aren't too far gone, sand first lightly and then just wash and rinse.
