If SEGA released a console that was kind of in between the wii/ps3 then i'd get it. purely because SEGA is in my blood. First console i had when i was 3, SEGA Mega Drive (Genesis) With sonic 1.

I've heard from another video that this new sega zone will also host sonic 4 episode 1 inside. don't know how much credibility that holds however both the console and the game are scheduled to be released "this summer"

They are this summer called "PlaySega". It will use RingWide hardware and sell for $150. The graphics will be simluar to 360. This however is a networking game device. The HD console RingEdge will come later.

It wont emulate Wii, more or less it just has a rip off control system that will function nothing like the Wii. It also, from what I have heard, will only work on less than 1/5 of the games, otherwise it is just a funky wireless controller. I'm not against it, but it is better than the plug and play joysticks that run on batteries, and the ripoff things at the mall that look like a N64 controller that play 8 bit rip-offs.

If it were cheaper than $60, I might get it.
