  • Nice!

  • And that ladies and gentlemen is how these cars are meant to be driven , Long live the Stratos and Mr Bjorn Waldegaard , What a top driver .

  • sounds like he is playing drums rather then driving with that throttle work.

  • There's a litle sound that isn't the same as the stratos. And you had to spoil it by using a really ugly livery, and what about the Stratos original wheels?

The most beautiful rally car ever has been ruined. But still love it. I saw this car at the Rally of Portugal in 2010.

  • @RoqueHead If you look at recent videos of this car it'll sound much better, they've changed the gearbox to one that doesn't whine.

  • There is only one way I could drive that car and that is Angry....

  • RESPECT FOR THE GRANDPA!!!

  • Nice driving this diva, Bjorn!!!

  • Dino V6 by Vittotori Jano and a little input from Dino Ferrari..

Normally a 2.4 V6 normally aspirated unit..Stratos penned by Gandini, (Diablo also).

A pure rally weapon from inception...a rally car with italian flair/ style..iconic stuff

  • nasty

  • and this is from a guy who is a audi lover.

  • did you have a co-driver and pacenotes for this run?

  • @actionjackson9000 There was a co-driver and notes, but it was only a test before the main event

  • aveva il freno a mano tirato?

  • Being very careful around the bends, I see! I would be too in that car.

  • 2.6l Ferrari Dino 6 cylindres engine, further developed for Lancia Themas! Awesome car, still one of my all time favorites!

  • i want one!!!!!!

  • Wonderful !!! AWESOME !!! Thank you !!! for posting this GEM !

The ole coot doing the driving was AWESOME !!!!!!!! A classic.... Keep posting ... PLEASE !

  • I think the engine is a 2.4 V6 Ferrari from the Fiat Dino Coupe of the 60s. Lovely engine!

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2.6 V6 litres Ferrari engine......100% Lancia made chassis......100% Italian world champion Sandro Munari.....a truly unique legend.......

  • The little Lancia launches!! ;-)

  • fantastic video....

  • nasty little racer

  • very hard track o.O

  • Come on Bjorn you can try harder than that!

But seeing @ 2.40 how fast it changes direction I wouldn't be trying any harder!

  • What's with the Björn "Waldegaard"? :P It's Waldegård, you probably don't have "å" on your keyboard, but please don't make him sound like some dutch duke. XD "gaard", pshesh! Anyway. Good to see the old man still got it. Thank you for uploading. 5/5

  • hahaha guardate come vibra il maialino, non riesce a tenerla XD

  • @NicPico nn capisci nulla!!! stai zitto!!

  • ti senti preso in causa quando ho detto maialino?

  • @NicPico chiedi a tua sorella..

mica ti ho insultato.. ho detto che nn capisci nulla di rally e se sapessi chi e waldegaard nn fli diresti maialino!

  • I absolutely love the Lancia Stratos. Contender for the best car ever made.

  • It is a remnant of the Trin Tar 17, ken?

  • Yeah Stratos will always be a great car, but, as for me, Stratos doesn´t have a chance when comparing to a 037, or a Delta and even an Integrale...

Stratos is an awesome work of bodyshop, but doesn´t compare nor at speed or acceleration to those I refered. In handling, alongside the Delta and Integrale yes maybe the best.

But for me the top order is: Integrale - Stratos - 037 - Delta S4

  • what engine is in It?

  • v6 dino ferrari

  • Looks like insane fun! :)

  • must have been "terrible" to drive. But nice car and sound.

  • hats off to Steve Perez and hats off to Bjorn!!

  • Steve Perez, the owner of this fabulous car said 'Roger Albert Clark Rally deserves this car!' Thanks Steve! Rallying needs more people like you!

  • Shame the WRC is now been messed up by the FIA just like every other form of Motorsport it is ment to look after. BRING BACK GROUP B. With safety and crowd control so much better Rallying NEEDS to have something to shout about. This will never happen but hey i can always dream

  • what a car, ur not gonna see or hear something like this today. Lancia made some of the badasst cars

  • Superb the external shots reminded me of seeing the car on the Lombard inside Clocaenog Forest we could hear it banging and popping well before it arrived I want one!

  • Amazing! 5/5 stars! I've just submitted my last vid about Stratos and it's great watching so realistic images about same car.

    I felt I was in a car simulation :D

    the car is fantastic.

  • Its a Ferrari engine, non turbo

  • The real 2.4L V6?

  • the engine is from the ferrari dino.

with the kkk turbocharger was able to reach something like 500 hp!!!

  • Cool. The reason I ask is there are a lot of replicas that use all kinds of four cylinder and V6 engines from common, newer cars.

  • Lets just hope the car holds out , it looks a lot better and he was pushing it hard allready

He managed to set the tyres and suspension up to work very well , and the team has done a great job sorting the engine and box out to make it more reliable.

i suspect he will be a good contender on the robin hood this weekend

  • fantastic testing....

  • Was that VK always on the headlight or was it put there specially for the in car camera? Because its in quite a convenient place to say theres never been in car from one of these before!

  • as far as i am aware its allways been there , but yeh , good place to put it

  • I think it has always been there because Steve had a camera in on the '05 RAC, I am certain that it had the VK on that footage.

  • Can't wait for the DVD after the event to see what I missed, will deffinetly buy one off you :-D
