im new to this, i wana do this beat making sampling.. what do i need. you got alot of kit there. i dont know what im doing i just wana make music and play around. looks fun. i would be helpful for someone to school me and tell me how to do this i got too much time on my hands
Yo i was wondering if u can help me out,i had to sell my mpc2500,im thinking of buying one of these mpd's..how exactly does it work?? i mean, with the mpc2500 i record right into it and everything is in the 2500 ready to assign to pads n play...i have a DAW so how does this work? because im sure their are no record in inputs on a controller right?
@EnveBeats the mpd is just a midi controller. Basically it sends midi signals (note on and off) to the computer which is then recieved by your DAW and sound is outputted by whatever VST you are using that corresponds to the played note. In terms of chopping etc. you will need to use another hardware solution to convert the vinyl (e.g. usb turntable) into digital sound and then it can be chopped, and mapped directly within the DAW
