(copper coils) So whats the max power i can toss a hdc3 12..i wanted to go with 2 3200 rms amps, but maybe i'll go with 2, 2200 rms amps with 2 12's with copper coils

Copper coils will be louder but take less power. If you want to throw 3k+ on one daily, go aluminum.

Are those bolts for the speaker leads? I use zinc 3/8's bolts for my enclosures. Are they the same?

Yea I gotcha but, even with 1500 each off a 2 saz3000D's i could have went with more power. HDC3 in a prefect givin application such as this could take 3k each if you watch it a lil bit. what i plan on doing this winter is putting 4 SAZ3000d's with 1 on each sub synced on a MaxxLink.

Sq is common on a sub like this. Im not a SQ Tweaker. They get hella loud and sound decent doing so. Even at tuned at 40 they still managed to play low. Of coarse we all know why.

As far as the Sundowns go. I didnt want to run a single amp at .5 there is no need in that IMO.

I baby my equipment and get a lil Hard on it from time to time but Never abuse anything.

Both amps are running Unstrapped and gained matched @ 1 ohm each. They stay cold!

im no sq tweaker either..much more a hack then urself.. i do like sealed boxes for accurate sound thts not too boomy but will still set off car alarms..i had 3 10w6v2s forever on a JL 1000/1 and it sounded good, was loud and all but didnt hit u from 2 blocks out.. my 2 memphis on 1/2 the power from a crappy sony amp is much louder but not quite as clean..its a trade off.. tens are perfect tho imo..

you can strap the amps together with the rca's to get 6000watts at 2 ohms

Like i said. Each sub was wire to 2 ohms then each pair was paralleled at each of the 3000d's.

So each amp was running a 1ohm.

Ummm Not for Aq's lol. 3K a pair so thats 1500 per sub. After Rise more like 1300 each.
