@cpnstav FACT : IF you plan vacations in greece from other countries everything is cheaper ...greeks pay more ....FACt: the salaries in Greece are much lower than in your country...if you have to live with 800 euro (now 400) you wouldn t have the money to pay taxes too... and something else if you want to buy a product you pay more than in other european countries....so we have low salaries, expensive products .So if i can not pay the taxes for the vegetables of my garden its ok for me

@cpnstav and since you are travelling so much in greece...it s not bad to learn some history about the loans we took from the UK after our independence...the loan was 800.000 pounds but the goverment took only 298.000 ...because they lomnans kept the 59% of the loan for insurance reasons and crap (my english aint that good to translate).. we paid this loan for more than 100 years....not your money ..but money from your colonies...so before judging greeks first judge your country

I love Greece so much also my houseband . We Married in Parga the most beatifull village in Greece on the mane land. We had a specciallie wedding in this village and all the people off Parga live,d whit us after the marrieds. We where dancing on the eiland behind Parga and after that we had a great festival in oure Hotel Acropollis and a great dinner. After that we had a big Parga by Georgo and Spiros on the boulevard. I am a American but can I have the most wonderful memories when in Greese............Crete. Warm, beautiful, full of history, colors, and charm. The people were fun and kind and so much I so treasure.

But then I have been in many places and lived in other countries as for me to experience or understand others you must live with them not just vacation. Work and family made this possible and being blessed.
