Are you able to play it on Insane Skill? It looks like this.
Would be cool if there would be video with that skill level. There is videos by slade021 but they have terrible video quality. These Videos look a lot better (except for your descent 3 - descent 2 level 1 video. That had same bad quality like these from slade021 ^^) How about some HD Videos?? Rebirth supports even 2048x1152 (my native resolution) so why not =)
@Cypher501 efreye has 112 parts for Descent 1 @ Hot Shot Skill. He wasnt as good as you, but it was interesting to watch him, because it was hard for him and so it was very exciting to watch.
I had the same trouble. Get 7 Zip, Using 7Zip Right click CD Drive, Go to D2DATA, Double click on the one file that is a .SOW and it should allow you to open it.
Copy EVERYTHING INSIDE THE SOW FILE TO WHERE THE D2X Thing is!

If I played this on insane, all of these would be extended into 1000 parts.
I did upgrade the quality in later videos. These are more than a year old.

I know that, I read stratagies in Planet Descent all the time, but I am used to the high speed/open combat of D3 so I just boost around them.

that's okay, I've just found my Descent 2 CD. How can I get D2 data from the CD?

Ok, Put the disk in-->Go to Start-->My Computer-->Right click on what ever drive the disk is in (E:, F:, G:, etc.)-->Go to Open and there you go. :)
