  • glider being 5 to 10kg above weight range?

  • Not at all, felt very confident thermalling. I think the higher wing loading increases feedback and handling, particularly in the stronger conditions. Maybe lost a bit on glide but I did well in the comp so it cant have been too bad.

    I love my wing :-)

  • Nice video, and nice job on acro.

Do you have any problems with climbing on your

  • At 4'30 you nearly got trapped in your wing.

    Shivering.

  • mmm, learnt a very important lesson that day !

  • exellent! - really enjoyed that....

  • nice video justin.

very entertainig and brings back some good memeries of nepal cathal or carl

  • Glad you found the video Cathal. Cant wait to be kicking back at Maya Devi with ya again :-)

  • hi friends! your vedio made my memory of Pokhara fresh..where I used to live in Nepal..

  • Nice Video!

Which glider is this? Is it the Aspen2 or the Aspen freestyle, or a Golden 2?

Because I tested the Golden 2 and i didn't get it SAT without a lower wingtip collapse.

  • Its a 24m Aspen 2, flown about 5-10kg over the weight range. Ive seen a Golden sat quite nicely so not sure why your getting a lower wt collapse. Maybe post a question on the paragliding forum, I'm sure someone will have some suggestions. Happy flying :-)

  • nice justin!well put together-matt

  • Heya Matt :-) So you got your camera set up going yet?? Would be sweet to see what proper acro looks like ;-)

  • I keep coming back to this one, Radical and Excellently composed! - GR8T Justin !

    Riaan

  • :-)

  • Great flights and great video - well put together!

Any tips for Nepal as an independent traveler / pilot? Or do you think it's preferable to stick to the tour operators (at least as a <40h beginner)?

  • I wish I could get back in 2008 but credit card debt combined with a full time uni course isnt helping, hehe. Planning to get money together and be there in 2009 ! so far away :-(

  • Ah Cathal,I know the one, know his sister well. See you next year? James

  • Great video Justin, who is the lanky Irish lad with the bird?:)

  • From memory that was Carl (wrong spelling...). He was working at Maya Devi Village, training the birds to do parahawking. How did you know he is Irish ?!

  • great work mate

  • great video! brings back the memories of been there only a few months ago.

  • Justin, AWSOME thanks for sharing that fansastic site and Mind blowing ACRO with us, What camera did you use ? Riaan

  • Glad ya liked it :-) I used a mini DV camera with a AV input and pluged a bullet camera into the AV input. The bullet camera was bought through RF concepts (check out their webpage).
