Ok, i REALLY know you havent payed attention to lyrics.

First off, the lyrics on Disco (95 percent of the time) mean nothing and are gibberish. Patton has said himself. So what you see there, i dont know. Secondly, patton didnt write all their lyrics. Dunn, Patton, and Spruance were the three main writers and they traded off writing songs, and those included lyrics.

Third, all of the songs on california are by far the most amazingly poetic. Give me one that isn't, i challenge you.

Disco Volante it's totaly different form California, California it's more calm, altough it still has the classical bungle thing, Disco Volante it's the most avant-garde, bizarre and virtous of Bungle, while Mr Bungle (first album) mixed ska, jazz, circus music, metal, rap, that lot's of stupid bands have coppied, but disco volante could never be, it's so bizarre it makes the other bands scared.

I dont think Bungle ever officially disbanded.They just cant tour every year. Bungle started when patton was still in high school n they are still technically "around" so I would say bungle has been "around" longer.
