if you're having trouble with inflammation, try adding the ginger root called turmeric. It is a revered herb in India (they annoit their third eye in marriages with it!) Sprinkle it on like salt-up to a teaspoonful- on practically anything, soups, alads, stews, eggs...The flavor is mild--also used to dye the fabric of the budhist monks. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory herb. It will reduce the toxicity in your body.
@healthyvegan Hey there! Just wanted to thank you for your videos! I was a vegetarian once (a bet) looking back I realized that I felt pretty good being a vegetarian. I am thinking about going vegetarian again and one of my friends, who is vegan, suggested I go all the way and go vegan. So I have a question: I had a mild case of Tenosynovitis in my wrists a few months ago and they still hurt from time to time so wondered if it would get worse if I don't get protein and calcium from meat and so?
@Himmytinny Awesome, good reflection :) So in my EXTREMELY brief look at tenosynovitis, it seems to be caused by inflamed tissues. Meat & dairy aggravate inflammation, so you might actually find plant proteins a better choice for you. Also, the calcium in dairy can accumulate in joints causing inflammation, so again - plant calcium might be a better thing. Best sources of plant protein and calcium? Dark green veggies, seeds, quinoa - get lots of those, and see how you feel - have fun!! :)
@healthyvegan Thank you very much ! I decided to go vegan even before I saw your comment, but it helps knowing it probably will be good for me in the end :D I got tenosynovitis by my job (I clean and the continues movement (washing and so) had me do movements not so good for my joints) but the doctor had me buy a special wristband for my wrists so now I use that when I work and it's really good now :) Thank you :) (sorry for the bad English, not my native language :) )
Going vegan has quite a few health benefits, like lowering the chance of getting specific heart diseases. Still, it is critical to enjoy a vegan meal. I desire to share some vegan recipes but youtube wont let me post here, so I put it on my profile.
It's so nice to see how you develop a recipe. I do the same thing and it's so satisfying when they turn out delicious!! I really love every flavor you put in this salad and will try it soon!
