An interesting thing about this video is that it's unavailable. There is a book with the transcript of the interview in the back but why can't we see a release of the film? I've seen it once at the Whitechapel and also have the book but why is this piece of media so illusive?

In the film Chomsky pays down the immediate impact of global warning, due to our ability to accommodate it, and highlights nuclear war as a greater threat. It's a great piece of work and it should be more accessible.

We don't have a lack of "Inspiring solutions", but a lack of will to actually put them into practice.

This is because our macho leaders of the world are too busy waging wars and don't perceive saving the planet to be important - there is no profit in it and nobody to conquer.
