I have German relatives who were living in Berlin before and during the war. This is what i was told by these relatives. I was not around as i am 29. I am not justifying any actions nor am i being hateful. Some of my closer friends are jewish...i am just re-telling the story that was told to me by a german who lived there at the time and DID NOT support the actions of Hitler. Having had a a great grandfather of german origin who migrated to my original homeland of Uruguay I can tell u the following.
He told us that yes Hitler was crazy and had gone a bit over the top with WW2. BUT...the reason why he acted in such a manner was because the Jews had migrated to Germany at the turn of the century in massive numbers. The Jews settled there and drove Germans out of business and to make things worse they refused to trade with Germans.....continued

As a German I have to tell you that this is completely false and gives me a headache because it supports the notion that Hitler had a reason for his actions.
There was no such wave of migration, where should it have come? The jews living in Germany had done so for generations and were disciminated for their religion for an equally long time.

I have German relatives who were living in Berlin before and during the war. This is what i was told by these relatives. I was not around as i am 29. I am not justifying any actions nor am i being hateful. Some of my closer friends are jewish...i am just re-telling the story that was told to me by a german who lived there at the time and DID NOT support the actions of Hitler. He only told me that Hitler did have reasons for his actions regardless of whether they were right or wrong

Sorry if I came of too harsh, I did not want to imply that either you or your relatives were nazis.
It's just that the reasons for the Third Reich and the war are twisted and called lies by nazis in Germany and elsewhere and it upsets me. There was a lot of unjust hate after WW1 and your relatives were right for leaving. The jewish people are not to blame for the poverty in Germany back then, the people who startet and willingly participated in WW1 are.

Man you are so ignorant that I don't even know where to start and begin. If Hitler had his way.. sure, there would be a lot less Jews in the world, but there would still be an Israel because Jewish settlements in Palestine happened before WW2, and today's problems would still continue.
And if Hitler was still alive today, Europe would still be under German tyranny, Russians would have been exterminated, and Britain would have been severely weakened.

....this caused massive poverty and death amongst Germans, alot due to starvation. Germany went from being a powerhouse in Europe to 3rd world country. Hitler was the only person who wrong or right had the balls to stand up to these people and told them to get the fuck out or they would be killed. They didnt leave so he started killing them. He later went nuts and started invading other countries and killing their Jews too, but that is main reason for Hitlers actions against Jews at the start.

The relative i had was German but opposed Hitler's method, hence he fled the war because he didnt believe in Hitlers methods. I am simply telling you Hitler's motives. Hitler did actually try to reason with Jews for years but they didnt budge. Im not supporting him, im just stating facts from someone who personally lived through it....

Did u ever consider whether Jews violated German human rights first? If i moved to a foreign country and i had a business i wouldnt pick and choose who i did business with personally (especially on the grounds of what race people were)....but thats just me. If you actually know something about Germany pre WW2 you would know that they were indeed in financial turmoil due to Germans being driven out of business by the Jews. U wont find this in books because it that would make Jews look bad (oh no)

Germany went fucking bankrupt because it fought a war that it couldn't fucking afford, and after that the Allies imposed the treaty of Versailles. But by the time of Hitler's regime Versailles was on the edge of being scrapped and Germany had no excuse for its economic destitution except its war.
