Great song and deserves to be a duet but I still prefer the original sung by Pandoras box back in the late 80s. It featured on the album original sin long before celine sung it.

it's sad when you see such an amazing preformer like meatloaf with stagefright, if you watch you can see his hand shaking from him trying to stay calm.
@dracodracone u really havent got a clue have you.. lol. its not stage fright. it's a technique when he is shakin the mic, and also, he is trembling at the power of his voice, he puts so much into it, if u ever sung a song such as this, with the power he does, you would be shakin in yr boots as well.
@richo199 actually i do have a clue, he has stated in many different interviews that he suffers from stage fright even after all the years he has been preforming.
this is'nt lipsync! only the 2first lines, "there were nights when the wind was so..." I think he puts on the audioplayback just to come in to the right voice pitch.
u can tell that it is'nt lipsync cuz here he sings "I can hardly believe but its all coming back to me.." he does'nt do that in the studio version.
Increíble; Meat Loaf y Marion Raven una canción para la eternidad. Son dos de las voces con más sentimiento y expresión; por lo que considero un gran vídeo en directo.
Un saludo a los fans de estos dos cracks de la música.
Nope, Meat Loaf always has convulsions when he sings. Kind of like how Stevie Wonder has to bob his head when he sings. When you feel your music, it does stuff to ya.
What the hell are you saying there?! This song belongs to Meat Loaf, because Jim Steinman wrote it..he just gave it to Celine Dion, because Jimmy and Meat Loaf had a row, but this song actually belongs to Meat and it´s perfect for a duet!
There were days when the sun was so c00l, that all the tears turned to dust and I just knew my eyes were drying up forever...........leave it to Meatloaf to write lyrics like that!
Actually, like the comments below state, Meatloaf didn't actually write the song, Jim Steinman wrote it. Also he didn't write it for Celine and she wasn't the first person to record it, Pandora's Box did sometime in the 80s.
alexdelta i dont think i heard of a bigger idiot then you ever seriously do you have any common sense steiman wrote tehs ong celine sung it and then they sung it and obviousy your too naive to hear any songs from the 70s im 21 and meatloaf is my fav singer and why dont you just go to a local celine dion website and praise her there
"It's All Coming Back To Me Now" is a power ballad, written by Jim Steinman in 1983. Inspired by Wuthering Heights, Steinman attempted to write 'the most passionate, romantic song' he could ever create. Although it was intended for Bat out of Hell II and given to Meat Loaf in 1986, Steinman and Meat Loaf decided to use "I'd Do Anything for Love (but I Won't Do That)" for the latter album, and save this song for Bat III.
Meat Loaf had it written specifically by Jim Steinman for Bat out of hell 3. Meat Loaf uses his albums to tell stories and you may notice this if you listen to the songs. Celine Dion really wanted the song and cos Meat hadn't used it, Steinman agreed she could, but said that if Meat wanted to sing it for another album he could! They agreed. You'll notice Celine's video uses the same ideas as Meats videos. In particular the motorbike form Hits out of Hell, Anything for love inside etc.
meatloaf DIDNT sing it originally. this song was written for CELINE DION by JIM STEINMAN who is the same composer who writes songs for MEATLOAF. thats why Meatloaf can sing it whenever he wants wherever he wants... also because he kicks ass, besides that, Jim Steinman is the composer behind the original Bat Out Of Hell. DUHH
he may not have recorded it before celine, but it wasn't written for celine. watch the whole video he explains that it was written for bat out of hell 2 and they decided to save it. so they let her use it.
For some reason Meat never really nails this song like he nails Anything for Love every time he sings it. Here he sounds kinda tired and is a little flat sometimes, still kicks ass though b/c his voice is god-like
Great song and deserves to be a duet but I still prefer the original sung by Pandoras box back in the late 80s. It featured on the album original sin long before celine sung it.

yes, you can hear that only meat's first lines are playback. the playback section is louder and clearer than his natural live voice.

this isn't lipsinging at all! you can tell how meat is lacking of air in some moments.
to me, their best live performance is the one they did at Paul O Grady show. it's flawless

but the paul o gray version is lipsinging! a pity...
