This sequence reminds me of Manson's goons attacking Polanski's house and killing Sharon Tate. If I ever meet Polanski, I"ll tell him that.

I saw this in 1977 in my freshman year of highschool for English class....this was the scene that we all could not believe we were watching....This was the first violent movie I had ever seen in my life...The little boy's last words to his mother was priceless.... I had never forgot that scene.....after that the Exorsit was easy!!!

Polanski apparently had the Tate/Manson murders in mind when this was filmed... Sharon Tate was, after all, his late wife. Really creepy when you think of that.
