It's exciting, beautiful, great sounding, luxurious, available with a manual gearbox, mid engined, and doesn't need quick lap times or 0-60's to be impressive...everything the GTR isn't.

this car is good because it has amazing every day driving characterstics while still giving amazing performance.

Same with the ZR1, if you can live with the manual, the Zr1 is very comfortable to drive everyday, more than the Z06.

Personally, after experiencing all these cars, I would pick the lambo any day cause its automatic and if you live in a cold country, its perfect.

Here in dubai it gets too hot in the summer and that kills the car.

Top speed for ZR1 is not as good as expect due to high gearing.

Well the stock 0-60 is 3.2 sec for the Lambo, some people have gotten 3.0 on slicks in it, but then I have seen a 3.0 on slicks in a Z06 on a 110 degree day. So I think the ZR1 could do that or better. I thought the gearing a was shorter for the ZR1 than the Z06? The Z06 could top out in 5th gear at 200mph and then shift into 6th and you could not maintain that speed. ???

That doesn't really matter cuz Corvettes are ugly and boring.  Lamborghinis are quite the opposite. The ZR1 could go from 0-60 in 1 second and chicks will still pick the Lambo.

You're right, the ZR1 has good aerodynamics and alot of torque and HP, that should get it to at least obver 210 with the right gearing. But when comparing the Gallardo to the ZR1, the LP 560-4 is much better. with the AWD you can get consistent runs almost everytime, and while the zr1 has more hp, i'd rather have a z06, just think about if you put a supercharger on that engine, it couldn't be beat, it weighs less and is better priced

Fair point but if you do supercharge the Z06 it wont be easy to make it handle as good as the ZR1.

@TJComer02 The ZR1 pulls harder lateral Gs than an Enzo and shares the brakes off an Enzo and a similar design to the Ferrari FXX. It would paint rings around the ZO6.

As far as the Lambo, this is by solar systems my favorite. I'm thinking the Vette would be more fun to drive because the Lambo is so easy, over time it will become predictable because it is consistent, thus boring faster. If you're truly into racing, I would see the ZR1 as the better car, but if not, LP-560-4 go.

But hte ZR1 can only hit it in 6th gear at 202mph and not in 5th. That's what all the mags and things are saying, that the artios are better for acceleration but there are some poor spats where the Z06 is faster. IDK?

Faster in the 1/4 mile faster to 60 faster to 100. ZR1 has a better top end power advantage because it is not 4wd but the ZR1 can't launch as hard with 2wd. And the Gallardo has launch control.

Motortrend has the specs for you. And the Lambo is faster.

I dont notice the hieght, maybe it looks chunkier. I think the back end looks a lot better, I never liked the back of the old one it looked blocky now it looks sleek and clean with those cool LED lights too. The new engine is the best part though.
