How on earth can ACTA be prepared in complete secrecy from the People? UNDER WHAT RIGHT? I don't remember the People authorising public servants to take matters into their own hands or permit others to do the same without our permission / authorisation. A constant changing or bending of the rules opens a very dangerous can of worms... What happens if the People start to say screw the rules? Then what?
Hey theres official petitions on the government official website and if you search 38degrees theres a couple in there. You need to get that in the description. Ill link you if you need it
@AnnoyedDragon You are probably referring to the very misleading article put out by the pirate party in 2010. For the full background to this explaining UKIP's position go here: tinyurl dot com/7egqxxd
This documentator, doesn't really know what he's talking about, is he. The biggest problem of ACTA is that it gives the authorities right to search your computer and all other electronic devices at their will, with no hard proof. They can just say that you might be carrying pirated data. ACTA is simply one more pact, that shows us where the EU and the rest of the world is heading. Only towards totalitarian governance.
The root of these problems lie with the monetary system as a whole. the best way to make this world a better place is to get rid of the monetary system and put The Venus Project in motion. Google it, I can't link it due to SOPA I guess. Money = debt. Allow me to explain, the banks work up some pieces of paper called 'bonds' (worthless pieces of paper) and send them to the Federal Reserve or Central Bank, they then give the bank the money as a loan. That's why money = debt.
I find it quite strange that I didn't see any coverage of this on my local news channels on (u.s.) television.
