absolutely awesome cover, Freddie was great but this is a cut above Freddie who was often pitchy live, but George just nails every note, have to laugh at these one eyed people who can't see it for what it is, both awesome singers but Freddie would listen to this and agree this is outstanding.

there are songs that sang by someone are one and only and it should stay that way. but it doesn't mean that someone else ca't sing it in his own way...I mean that freddies version was and stays the best, but george made a very good perfomance becouse he wasn't tring to be freddie

No one can sing it like Freddie. Freddie was more vibrant. George is soft. Freddie was more alive. George's performance is too studied, almost karaoke-ish.

I think the importance of the moment and the huge crowd's feedback, compared to the original track, which doesn't make justice to Freddie's voice (no reverb or echo added, making his voice too quiet and lonesome), it's making some believe this cover is better. Maybe, but George can't compare to Freddie's voice. Freddie is still the king.
