A game that was just shy of being great. If not for it's short length, lack of shooter multiplayer and abrupt and horrible ending it would have been a truly amazing experience. As it stands it's a good game that just missed the mark. Still loved it though, hopefully they'll pull a Fallout 3: Broken Steel and fix the ending.

I personally found this game extremely dissapointing. Yes the shooting was incredibly satisfyign and responsive, and the enemy animations and AI were really good, but getting between the fights was soooooooooooooooo boring and made it not worth playing

This game was so hyped up in the trailers, but it was so god damn lacking. A game like this has so much potentail, and it dissapoints me that iD out of everyone, didn't put the full potential in. It has like 8 guns each with 4 different types of ammo. IN THE ENTIRE GAME. The story is retarded as shit and the gameplay is so liner. Go to X and retrieve Y and report back here. That's literally every mission, and the boss fights are total jokes and it's pretty much impossible to die.

The SP mode was short and the surrounding was not able to be explored as much as i wanted to. Almost when I got the good stuff the game was over, haven't tried the MP yet though... will be more Fallout 3 for me instead, while i waits for Battlefield 3 and Diablo III.

Also the new ATI driver solved issues with freezing loading screen, but i got some artifacts after playing a few hours.. Restarting game solved it. Still I had one bug where i fell below the map in the resistance entrance garage.

yeah this game is a bit of a disappointment, they totally cheaped out on graphics with a 2d sky and 2d distant LOD and this was supposed to be a visually stunning game? oh did i mention that a lot of people with high end graphics cards have graphical issues? once skyrim comes out this game will be obsolete, this game is just a filler. btw duke nukem forever has better graphics than this game and its only a 5 gb game.
