  • lol nice review, gonna see avatar this weekend, can't wait

  • Also, yeah, when the colonal and his commando team flew out to take down 'Home Tree' I was like, No WAY!!! If that tree, as massive as it was, was totally 'solid' there would have been no way it could have come down that fast. But then I remembered Jake reporting back to the colonal on how the inside was sort of hollow with massive root columns or cores. Then it all made perfect sense :)) This movie was amazing.

  • So, after thinking upon this for a while....I suddenly realised that the way the creatures and the Na'vi looked in darkness was EXACTLY the way the animators wanted them to look with, like you mentioned, all that bio-luminescent flora and fona. So, now I have come to realise that everything, day OR NIGHT, looks just breathtakingly realistic...does that make any sense?

  • haha yeah that makes sense I think :P

  • Yeah, this is super crazy!!! Hear me out....(by the way, I absolutely LOVEEE this movie) But OK, hear me out here, CG in film has always, ALWAYS looked better to me when it's disguised in darkness (night time) and looked more obviously 'animated' in broad daylight but THIS movie....I was thinking 'what the HELL?' It's the complete opposite. It looked photorealistic almost 100 percent of the time in broad daylight and not as good in darkness!!!! Again, what the HELL is up with that??!
