theres a better way to lock yourself and neigbors visiting. 4 Haystacks around your farmer, in the middle of the map, or kinda like the middle and youre done!

Or you can trap him in the middle of your field when you load your game it automatically spawns you in the middle what you wanna do is surround him with haystacks and your good :D + this only takes up one patch of land :D

Dont trap urself in the corner. You have to make it so the trapped area is in the middle (where you start). If its in the corner it will only work for that time.

I have a seeder/tractor/harvester yet i still use this trick. When you get to higher lvls and have bigger farms with more crops the fuel isnt enough to get it all done. For me doing a bit more than half my crops with ONE of them takes my whole fuel tank.

Make sure you trap yourself directly in the middle of your farm in the spot where your farmer always appears when you load the game. That way you will not have to re-trap the farmer every time. I have fences with the rest tent in the middle of my farm. It works great.
