  • Well done. Please, don't forget Derek Jacoby.

  • oLIVIER'S hamlet HAS A SUPER SCORE WITH A long DEATH MARCH AT THE END.... SEE IT AND WEEP FOR THE CRAZED DANE!

  • Estupenda película y banda sonora.

La ví hace unos años y me encantó.

La recomiendo a todos los amantes de Shakespeare.

  • Lovely. Cinema Choral Classics did a version of this song that is also very pretty.

  • Bella voce ...bella musica.. William Shakespeare..L'amleto.

  • The gentleness of a dove and the impact of a sledge hammer all in one. This is music.

  • Domingo's voice on this is quite amazing, the darknesses and depth on the bottom with the baritone qualities, the soaring tenor notes on the top and the passion in his expression. Perfect choice for this song and it is why he is my favorite tenor. Because of the darker vocal qualities, few may realize this is a b flat on top with a series of As before the ending drops to a lower range.

  • Patrick Doyle... my favourite film composer of all time - and this song is just one of the many reasons. <3

  • Que voz, que música

  • sublime!!!

  • iTs pronunced sublime you fage!

  • well and exelent song that explains well what hapends after death

  • @astrogay100

You're claiming to know what happens after death?

Would you care to illuminate the rest of us?

As far as I'm aware, it's, "the undiscovered country, from whose bourne no traveller has yet returned", but if you've actually made that return journey, I think any observations or insights made while you were dead that you feel you'd like to share with the rest of the world would be fascinating.

  • Wonderful as usual. Perfect blending of music and video.

  • Liked the split screen effect and love the song 'In Pace'; everytime I listen to the ST (at least once a week!) I must replay the 'In Pace' track a few times. This works so well with the single speech and the pan out on the left - good choice. As usually - very well done, TOF - classy!

  • along with "William Shakespeare's Hamlet" and "Much Ado About Nothing," this is another Shakespearean masterpiece from Kenneth Branagh. His collaborations with Patrick Doyle ((both on & off-Shakespeare adaptations) have been enormously succesful. This film is the first proof of that success. Also, Branagh's successful editing of Shakespeare's plays, combined with Doyle's score, excellent casting & gorgeous scenery, have combined to make his movies cinematic triumphs in every way.

  • Wow, brilliant! Thank you!

  • Welcome back TediousOldFools. We've missed you! :o)

  • Awesome, once again. Loved the ending!

  • Aww, wow. This is really beautiful! =D

  • POETRY, pure poetry.....Added at once in my favourites!

  • ABSOLUTELY BLOODY BRILLIANT. You can feel the power in the song thanks to Placido Domingo's excellent voice.
