but yea. black eyed peas is good & rap isnt what most ppl think it is today. ppl forget the 50's - 80's rap of storytelling & fight the power. of course radiohead, Elton John, nd many artists from the past also had important things to talk about but most ppl dont care enough to find out what the lyrics actualyl represent. if a good beat is all one listens (most ppl) to, then you can't appreciate the music to its fullest. I'm a hip hop fan but i like rock, blues, country, & jazz .

and when I listen to music of the past and current popular music, rappers are most likely to talk about importance of morals, cultural events, political scandals & gov't corruption in their songs. a lot of them r more realistic & honest han artists of other genres What singer do you know would talk about corrupt African Leaders of the past like Lupe does in his songs? most ppl would expect a singer to spout some lovedovey nonsense that isnt anywhere close from reality. at least think about that.
