!!!!Heads up guys!!! Activision, and gh4 wt, and Game Stop stated that GH4 will work with the ion drum set. While this is somewhat true there are many problems like cross talk, lag, and missed notes which make it basicly unplayable. I will have a video up shortly showing these. So bottom line..if you have the rock band drums or the ion set they will not work with guitar Hero world tour!!

Rock Band INNOVATED guitar hero, adding a mic and drums, and this game INNOVATES rock band by improving instruments and adding a music studio, among other things. GHWT- has hendrix, Doors, Eagles, Van Halen, Sublime Steve Miller Band

Rb2 guitar- same old lousy crap

GHWT- touch strip and better strum bar and notes

GHWT has song creator meaning u can download *free* songs other ppl make that they can probably recreate songs from real time band

Yes, the game is comming out for the PS2. The PS2 version is handled by the same guys/girls, that made the PS2 versions of Guitar Hero 3 and Guitar Hero Aerosmith - so it should be a decent game.

yes Aerosmith is based off of the Guitar hero 3 engine. On tour is a super port to the DS of World Tour. World Tour aka GH4 is using an entirely new engine, because of the new create a rocker/music and the such.

this is infinatley better than rock band. in my opino rock band was complete garbage. pretty much all of them are broken the guitar sucked dick the drums were OK but still it was really hard to do fast drumming. the songs were decent and there were only like 3 good songs. this version is going to kick ass.

The reason they probably made this is because guitar hero fans didn't really like rock band because it was a different feel. The makers of guitar hero and rock band are the same so they are just trying to make another but better version of rock band and put the guitar hero name on it to sell to a bigger audience.

GH 1&2 are made by Harmonix and those were through Activision. Rock Band is also made by Harmonix, but Harmonix is now owned by MTV which EA produces MTV's games. Now Activision is trying to pull back the GH crowd from Rock band with GH:WT. Activision owns the rights to the GH name but not to Harmonix.
